The first thing I do when I get to Rio is head to Osklen, the creation of celebrated Brazilian adventurer come designer Oskar Metsavaht. Last summer he did a minimalist take on Carnival but this season is more sombre: sharp-edged dresses and sculptured menswear-style coats have been perfect for a Melbourne winter.
I have a strange obsession: baby names. I love them! My favourites: Matilda, Indi, Autumn, Violet, Audrey, Evie, Frederic (Freddie), Frankie and Belle. I also love Camille, but it's not so nice with an Australian accent...
I'm ashamed to say I will only see one movie at the Melbourne International Film Festival this year. But what a pick! Bill Cunningham New York is beautiful, tender and a fitting tribute to 'the most important man on Earth'. I loved it. Please go see it, if only for the alphabet suit.
I often dream about creating the perfect home, while Lyndsay and Fitzhugh have gone and done it. But I'm not surprised their house is so cool, given their professions and the fact that they can even arrange toilet paper creatively. Thank you the selby for helping me to aspire. And the pups are so beautiful too!
My Mum and Dad live in Rio de Janeiro so I've come over for a quick visit. This is seriously one of the most incredible cities in the world and my days here are spent on the beach with the locals, admiring the beautiful bodies and drinking caipirinhas. It's a nice life, for sure.
I am a big fan of short wedding dresses, and this is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Photography by Glen Allsop. Have a look at this blog for more of this celebration and other gorgeous Australian weddings.

A vintage Stockholm wedding unites one very cool couple
This morning was the coldest morning of the year in Melbourne. To warm me up I’m thinking of Rio, where it’s always hot, even when it rains. Mum and Dad are living over there for a few years so I feel like it’s my second home. I’m dreaming of my next visit and of more sunsets like this one.
One of my best friends just had a beautiful baby girl and I have been searching for something special to buy her. I just love the colourful artwork at CASTLE in Sydney. All of them would look so lovely in a nursery, but I think this one is my favourite.
I am always looking for beautiful and creative wedding invitations. When I got married last year I thought about using postcards of my favourite print for our invitations. In the end I went with something a little more classic but I still love the idea of choosing an invitation design that's unexpected and fun. I came across this picture of a poem on Garance Doré's site the other day. Wouldn't it make the loveliest wedding invite?
